Unwrapping frenzy

All I can say is Christmas present unwrapping was crazy this year. Harper was not shy about ripping into every gift bag and pulling out what was inside. Dylan originally told us he wanted everyone to unwrap one present at a time so we could all see what everyone received, that plan soon went by the wayside as soon as he started opening his presents. We all got great stuff as usual and the kids have enjoyed their new toys and activities (thanks to everyone!). (If you click the arrow on the middle left of the photo you can see all our Christmas photos! Lucky you!!)

Church Christmas Program

This has really been Dylan's first year participating in Sunday school and therefore the church kids Christmas  Program. He was unsure about participating but after going to a practice he decided he wanted to participate. I understand how he feels. I distinctly remember standing up in front of the church crying (with my mom about 5 feet away in the front row) because I was scared of being in front of so many people. He did great though and had a lot of fun.

Christmas Tree Decorating

I am super behind in posting...so you are getting Christmas tree decorating photos in January. Hopefully this year my blogging will be a little more frequent than last year!

We had to get our Christmas tree at Home Depot this year. It was very sad, we ALWAYS go and cut our own tree down, but this year every chance we had to go it was raining. It was even raining the day we went to Home Depot to get our tree, luckily they had all the trees in a nice, dry tent. We did get a great tree, so I can't complain too much.

Dylan LOVES to help decorate the house during the holidays and especially the Christmas tree. Dave not so much. I'm happy to have my little buddy help me though!
