One year

Today is a hard day for our family. Today it will be one year since Dave's dad Marvin passed away. It's hard to believe it's already been a year. As I'm sure those of you who have lost someone close to them know it's the little things that remind you of someone and make you miss them. When we were buying my Jeep last year we had so many questions that we would have called Marvin about, but couldn't. He was Dave's go to for everything. He always had an answer for us and helpful advise, we miss that. We were at church a few weeks ago and the Apostles Creed was the response, the Apostles Creed was also read at Marvin's funeral. Everytime I hear it now it makes me cry. I know it's been a hard day for everyone who knew Marvin. He is still greatly missed by his family and friends. He touched so many lives, even people who had only met him once or twice have a great "Marvin" story.
Rest in peace Marvin, we miss you every day.

The Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Christian Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
